Achipsinskie waterfalls

To enjoy the beauty of the Achipsinskie waterfalls you need to walk up a forest path to the Achishkho massif. Part of the route goes through boundless expanses of alpine meadows. This tour requires walking great distances and is divided into two stages. The first stage begins at the border of Sochi National Park and goes along the western slopes of Mount Achishkho to the beginnings of the River Achipse. There is where the famous Achipsinskie waterfalls are. The second stage is the return to the start point by the same route. The time frame for following this route are limited by the times of the year when it is completely covered by snow and by the mating season of the red deer. The route is open from 15 May to 15 October.
