Hiking and tourist routes
The “Tiso-Samshitovaya roshcha – Maloye koltso” (Yew and Boxwood Grove – Small Ring) trail is an enjoyable hike that will acquaint visitors with one of Sochi’s most striking natural monuments. The hike is 1.6 kilometers long and takes 1 hour to complete.
Arriving in the lands of an ancient relic forest, visitors negotiate a labyrinth which is located on the bank of the picturesque Labirintovaya balka (Labyrinth Valley) – an impressive area of untouched beauty. Further along the trail, visitors will find the Beliye Skaly (White Rocks) observation deck before returning along a familiar path to the Labyrinth Valley. The trail then goes past a giant Yew tree to Opolznevaya balka (Landslide Valley), after which it arrives at the exit. This trail can also be taken in the opposite direction.
