Hiking and tourist routes
The eco-trail to Medvezhy (Bear) waterfall rises from 1970 to 2050 meters above sea level and is located near the unique climatic zone of Circus-2. The waterfall can only be seen in summer when a lot of snow melts as it is entirely reliant on meltwater. There is a beautiful valley of rhododendrons along the route.
During the hike, you can see rare plant species and breathtaking panoramic landscapes. A magnificent view of the Main Caucasus ridge is revealed, and the flowering rhododendrons set against the backdrop of alpine meadows provides a beautiful background for your photos.
The moderate difficulty of the trail and its short duration allows visitors to complete the hike without any special physical training.
The trail is accessible from June to October and is 500 meters long with a rise of about 80 meters.
