Ethnographic and agricultural tourism complexes
Ethno-farm Shishin Dvor is located at an altitude of 1,100 meters on a sunny section of the slope, protected from strong winds, in the middle part of the Aibga ridge in the area of Rosa Khutor ski resort. The summer tourist route "Ozerniy Travers" and ski slopes make access to the farm convenient for guests at any time of the year. There is also a bike route to the farm.
The ethno-Park restores a typical farmstead of a Russian migrant settlers’ estate. The most important building of the farm is the main house. Nearby is the "guest" or “summer” house, which plays the role of kunatskaya- the room where the guests enter the house. At the Shishin yardthere is also a patzkha– a polygonal building with an earthen floor and an open hearth.
Here, Abkhazian, Russian and even Svan traditions of mountain life merge in an amazing way.
At the farm you can chat with domestic goats and goatlngs, order a lunch made from fresh farm products or buy products produced by ethno-farm (farm cheeses, honey and pastries) as well as visit a cozy village with a reconstructed life of Russian settlers of the XIX century.
Farm products can also be purchased at the Shishin Dvor kiosk opposite the lower station of the Strela lift in Rosa Dolina.
The farm offers guided tours and master classes, both individual and for small groups of guests.
